We prefer 8-bit sRGB or Adobe RGB (1998) color space.

While we prefer JPEG files with baseline-standard compression, we also support flattened TIFF files saved with no compression. JPEG files will upload much faster for you.

We recommend a minimum of 3,000 pixels on the longest edge of your file for most of our products. The rule of thumb is 300 pixels per inch however; we do not need files over 9,000 pixels. All files should be saved at a resolution of 300 dpi.

We offer two options for printing:

AS-IS, where we print an order exactly as we receive it (we recognize your color tags and carry them throughout the printing process). Most photographers that choose our AS IS workflow choice are experienced in Photoshop and use hardware calibrated monitors with a color managed workflow. If you would like to have your orders printed AS-IS, you should ensure that your monitor is calibrated. Monitor calibration is crucial to color management but is also the first step. Call our Customer Service staff and we will be happy to assist you with your monitor calibration and help you bring your monitor settings in line with our printer profiles in this free service. If you do not calibrate your monitor to our printing profiles, we recommend the Color Correction Service.

Color Correction Service is an order option at an additional $1.00 per file, per order. This service performed by our experienced staff allows us to individually check color, density, and saturation of each image. Color Correction does not include retouching of your image. You can choose the color correction option for your order on the Review Order page in ROES or upon checkout in Xpress. We do not save color corrections over 30 days.

Color Correction Service will add one day to the published turnaround times .

You can place orders with our Remote Order Entry System (ROES) or our web-based ordering system, Xpress. Both are free to use and require no set up or account fee.

If you would like a product faster than our published schedule, we will work with you to accommodate your deadline with a combination of in-house rush for production and expedited shipping if necessary. By contacting Customer Service with your deadline, we will determine what additional fees – if any – are necessary.

Please note that not all products can be rushed and many times sale items are not eligible for rush.  Rush fees for in-house production can vary by product, turnaround time requested,  and current in-house volume and can add up to 200% of the original price to the order.

During a sale, the normal turnaround on a sale product may be extended and rushes may not be available. If you need a sale product rushed and production is able to accommodate your request, the original retail price will be charged and rush fees may be necessary to meet your deadline. Please contact Customer Service to determine if your product can be rushed and if additional rush fees will be required.

To reduce errors, our system relies on a degree of automation such that some changes are difficult for us to make once we’ve received an order. Sometimes, it’s best to cancel the current order and you can place a new, replacement order. Please note that our turnaround times are sometimes very fast, so your order might already be completed and on its way to you before you request a change. Once your order has printed, we are unable to cancel it or make changes.

An account is not necessary to order from myphotopipe.com. If you wish to open an invoice account where you are billed automatically each month, please contact our Customer Service staff and we will be happy to discuss your projected business and explore the options available. You will need to set up a log in to use our Xpress ordering system.

We offer a “Print to Fit” option. Our software fits the longest dimension of your file to the longest side of the template you’ve selected and lets the other side fall short. You will receive a print with a white border somewhere (top and bottom or sides) but you won’t lose any of your image. In ROES, you will find this option on when you click the center of your image in the product template, a pop up tool box will appear with four arrows. When you click the four arrows, your file will switch between “Crop” or “Fit”. Double check your template with your image in ROES – what you see is what you get. In Xpress, this option is available AFTER adding your product to your shopping cart and is located under each print in your cart with the print options. Please note that print to fit is not available on certain products that cannot be trimmed such as canvas wraps and metal prints.

We recommend letting us handle the upscaling. As long as you provide us with at least a 2000x3000pixel file from a minimum 6 megapixel camera, you are good to print. ROES will let you drag your original file into the size template of your choice to choose your crop. Then once we receive the order, our software will upscale as necessary.

We are unable to offer any imprinting on photos. If you would like your studio logo on your print, you must put this in your file, on your image, prior to saving and uploading. Please allow at least .25” from any edge of your image.

In addition, you can add text to some print products that can be found in our folio and bordered prints in the ROES catalog. Please look under “Design Templates” for products with text options.

We do offer copyright/backprinting on photographic prints smaller than 12×18. You can choose this option in ROES on the Review Order page. Please note that the length can only accommodate up to 32 characters.

No, we no longer process film of any type.

We do not offer any referral discounts at this time, but as a community of photographers, we appreciate your referral.

We do process boudoir photography. We have several professionals who specialize in this. Our policy is to reject photography where there is purposeful contact with the genitals’ or where the primary focus of the image is the genital area.
